One bad inning dooms Cravy, Brewers in 6-0 loss

Tyler Cravy allowed six runs, all of them in one inning, in his first start after taking the place of Kyle Lohse in the Brewers' 6-0 loss to the Cardinals Friday at Miller Park.

Cravy threw four scoreless innings before a paid of RBI doubles, a Jason Heyward single and a Randal Grichuk three-run homer in the fifth inning. Tyler Thornburg, Neal Cotts and Kyle Lohse finished out the game with a combined four scoreless innings.

Lohse has been demoted to the bullpen and reportedly placed on waivers as the Brewers look for a possible trade partner in the last two months of the right hander's contract.

The loss broke the Brewers' three game win streak.
