Officials investigating theft of 400-pound bell from Walworth County cemetery

WALWORTH, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Walworth County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of a bell taken from St. Killian's Cemetery in the Town of Lyons. 

Officials say the bell had been bolted onto a granite monument.

They say it was taken some time between Dec. 27, 2021 and Jan. 3, 2022.

The bell is made out of cast iron and estimated to be about 400 pounds.
