Oconomowoc man charged with sexual assault of neighbor's child

Robert Stryker is being charged with first degree sexual assault of a child under 13 years-old for acts that occurred in 2014. Stryker was, also, charged in 2014 for possession of child pornography.

Stryker, a 42 year-old from Oconomowoc, is charged with having sexually assaulted a six year old girl who lived next door to them. According to the victim it happened several times in the summer of 2014. 

The mother of the child was not told about these incidents until July 30, 2015.

 

The defendant, who had two children, had a pool installed the summer of 2014 as well as a swing set. He would have multiple neighborhood children over to play and swim. 

Last summer the mother was told of an incident when the daughter had showered or bathed with one of the defendant's children when only the defendant was home. Stryker's wife asked the mother to make sure that he did not bathe at their house any more. After an incident involving the mother's 16 year-old daughter being kissed on the cheek last year, Stryker's wife advised her that he had an addiction to child pornography. 

Stryker's next court date for the child pornography charges is August 17.
