OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A group of seniors in Oak Creek got a well-deserved break from their quarantine Thursday, July 23.
After being locked down for months, residents of The Waters of Creek senior living community got a chance to leave their apartments.
The facility also held a mask decorating contest and a music and fashion show.
"The most difficult thing for me has been not being able to see my family," said resident Marilyn Mills. "But the people here have really gone way overboard to make everything as comfortable as they can, and that means a lot, and that's why I'm here."
Marilyn says she moved all the way from California to live at the facility and be close to family.
