OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A senior living center in Oak Creek rallied together Friday to honor local veterans with a parade.
The celebration also gave residents the chance to reunite with their loved ones from a safe distance.
One resident who served in the Vietnam War says it was a great way to have their spirits lifted during the pandemic.
"I like the colors of course, I'm red, white and blue...but also I liked the fact -- all the noise and all the horns. It was a celebration, so that was really wonderful," said Veteran Patricia Thompson.
In all, 25 vehicles took part in the parade.
