CEDARBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Cedarburg Children’s Theater is putting a twist on an iconic fairy tale story.
The theater is performing a version of “Sleeping Beauty” this weekend.
The director and executive producer says this play will be the funniest ever performed at the theater.
“She’s a tomboy, won’t take care of herself,” Beth Albright said. “Fighting battles in the kingdom, not your mama’s Sleeping Beauty.”
The performances will be at the Cedarburg Cultural Center on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. There’s also a matinee show on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.
