'No taxation without relaxation'; Kona Ice easing Tax Day stress with free shaved ice

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tax Day 2023 is on Tuesday, April 18, a day marred in stress for many across the area. To combat the stressful nature of filing tax forms, Kona Ice has a plan.

Kona Ice trucks parked at various locations in the area are set to offer free shaved ice as part of the brand's annual National "Chill Out Day."

The event aims to alleviate stress related to Tax Day by promoting the idea that there should be no taxation without relaxation.

Shaved ice will be dished out at Priority Home Care, located at 7915 W. Appleton Ave in Milwaukee from 4 to 6 p.m. and Brewfinity Brewing Co. in Oconomowoc from 3 to 5 p.m.
