No Parking Enforcement or Trash Pick Up for the Holiday Weekend

City of Milwaukee government offices will be closed Friday, December 23 and Monday, December 26 for the Christmas holiday. However, some Department of Public Works services will be available for limited hours of operation, and certain parking restrictions will be lifted.
Garbage, Recycling, and Self-Help Centers:
- There will be no garbage or recycling pick-up on December 23 and 26. For information on your next scheduled collection days, go to the DPW website at milwaukee.gov/mpw
- Self-Help Drop Off Centers will be closed on December 23 through 26
Parking Enforcement:
- No parking meter or hourly restriction enforcement on Sunday, December 25
- No overnight parking enforcement on Saturday night into Sunday morning (December 25 from 2:00 - 6:00 AM) and Sunday night into Monday morning (December 26 from 2:00 - 6:00 AM)
- Overnight parking enforcement resumes on Monday night into Tuesday morning (December 27 from 2:00 - 6:00 AM)
Tow Lot:
- Open – Friday, December 23 (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM), Saturday, December 24 (7:30 AM to 12:00 noon), and Monday, December 26 (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
- Closed – Sunday, December 25
Milwaukee Water Works:
- 24-hour drinking water service and Emergency Control Center: (414) 286-3710
