Milwaukee police: Woman locates stolen car, confronts driver in wild confrontation caught on camera

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The man allegedly caught on camera being pulled from a stolen car is now facing charges.

Police say 22-year-old Lavonte Williams car jacked a victim last Tuesday, March 4. 

Those victims then tracked him down using an apple tag. 

During the struggle, one of the victims to grab his ID, which was later turned over to police. 

He was arrested after showing up to the hospital.

Williams is due back in court next week. 


MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A wild crash was caught on camera near Teutonia and Capitol in Milwaukee. 

According to Milwaukee police, a victim located their "freshly" stolen vehicle and confronted the driver. A physical altercation ensued between the two and the vehicle crashed into a bus. 

The suspect fled the scene on foot, police say. 

No injuries were reported. 

Milwaukee police are seeking an unknown suspect.
