MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – No one is hurt after two separate fires were reported across Milwaukee Thursday evening.
One fire broke out at a two story home around 7:30 p.m. near N. 28th St. and W. Cherry St. Emergency crews say the fire started on the first floor and spread to the second floor. Everyone got out of the home safely.
Another fire broke out in a two and a half story building around 10 p.m. near S. 12th St. and W. Orchard St.
The fire started on the first floor and moved to the second floor. There’s no word on how many people were in the building at the time of the fire but no one was hurt.
The Red Cross is helping the occupants of both of the homes impacted by the fires. There's no word on damage estimates for either fire.
