NFL Stars like TJ Watt, Zack Baun and others work out at NX Level in Waukesha
CBS 58 WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Packers are on field Wednesday, July 29, to begin training camp. The clock is ticking, and a number of notable players and faces were at NX Level in Waukesha Friday, putting in the work.
The headliner? Of course T.J. Watt, who pushed a lot of the guys through the end of the workout.
Many with Badgers ties, including Hunter Wohler and Riley Nowakowski. Eagles All-Pro Linebacker Zack Baun, who played his high school ball in Brown Deer, credits NX Level owner Brad Arnett with getting him to the level he's obtained.
"Yeah, it's the best work you're gonna get. I think anywhere, especially here in Wisconsin," Baun says. "So that's the reason we all come back, is for Brad and this place."
"Today we're doing sled pushes, and I was like, didn't fully finish the line," Riley Nowakowski says of T.J. Watt. "He was like, what are we doin'? You know, just like, yeah, at all times, gotta be on your P's and Q's. You know, full effort all the time. So it was good having somebody like that, you know, pushing you and keeping you accountable."
And Nowakowski is a teammate of T.J. Watt in Pittsburgh, so some tough love there. Hunter Wohler was there, rehabbing to have a big year. And Chimere Dike, who had an All-Pro season, setting an NFL rookie record with the Titans last season.
