MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The calendar of events in the Milwaukee area is full of fun this upcoming weekend. Joe Krauss from B93.3 FM joined us on Friday, Aug. 18 to share details about what's in store.
Summer Night Movie in Veterans Park will take place at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, where the movie Grease will be screened. Admission is free, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
MOWA Art and Chalk Fest will take place Saturday and Sunday, offering a free outdoor fine arts and crafts festival. Visitors can enjoy artist booths, chalk art, live entertainment and more on the Museum of Wisconsin Art's campus.
The Elite Sports Clubs Summer Splashdown is scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. at Elite in Brookfield. Attendees can enjoy limbo, cornhole, cannonball contests and more, with Joe as the DJ. Non-members can register via email at [email protected].
The Milwaukee Milkmen have special events lined up, including Friday Night Fireworks on Aug. 18, Hawaiian Night on Aug. 19 and Sweet Teats on Aug. 20, featuring a postgame helicopter candy drop and jersey auction.
