Fully involved garage fire reignites hours after being put out

SAUKVILLE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a house fire that happened near Hwy 33 and Mill in Saukville on Friday, June 30, around 10:38 p.m.

According to a report, an attached garage was fully engulfed with fire when the first deputies arrived on scene.

The fire was knocked down and put out with the help of area fire departments.

No one was in the house at the time of the fire and there were no reports of injuries.

The garage was damaged extensively and how and where the fire started is under investigation.

On Saturday, July 1 at around 5:20 a.m., the fire restarted and fire departments were called back to the scene to put out the hot spots.

South 33 was closed both eastbound and westbound for about 90 minutes during each fire.
