Report: Bucks granted permission to interview Trail Blazers' assistant Scott Brooks for head coach position

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski posted a Tweet on Thursday, May 11 noting that the Milwaukee Bucks have received permission from the Portland Trail Blazers to interview assistant coach Scott Brooks.

The interview aims to fill the head coaching vacancy left by Mike Budenholzer's recent dismissal.

Brooks has a lengthy career as a head coach in the NBA, spending over 12 seasons with Oklahoma City and Washington. He was last a head coach in June 2021 before parting ways with the Wizards.
