RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin hopes you'll hear their call for help to fill their veteran marketplace this season.
Zach Zdroik, the executive director of the VOW, joined us in studio to talk about an upcoming banquet and needs right now for the holidays.
The Winter Banquet is happening on Dec. 3 at Fountain Banquet Hall in Sturtevant.
Doors open at 4 p.m. and dinner starts at 5:30 p.m.
Zdroik also spoke about the need they have now for items in their marketplace for veterans. It's across the street from the VOW and provides veterans with food and supplies they need for free.
He says more veterans have been coming in this year and they are in need of the giving spirit this holiday season.
Items include both food and non-food-- such as toilet paper and tissues.
They do not take items like furniture or used bedding.
