New Traffic Pattern for I-794 set for Friday Morning Commute

As the final phase of the Hoan Bridge Construction Project nears its end, a project milestone will be in place for your Friday Morning Commute.

By 5 a.m. traffic along I-794 will return to their respective roadways in the Eastbound and Westbound directions from the Marquette Interchange to the Hoan Bridge.  If you are heading from the Lake Parkway stretch expect to see a crossover as you exit the Hoan Bridge arches. This will put drivers back on the newly reopened westbound corridor as you approach the Marquette.

Drivers will also be able to use the I-794 westbound exit ramp to Milwaukee St which has been closed during the reconstruction. By mid September expect the Jackson St. exit and entrance ramps to reopen.

Throughout the Fall crews will begin wrapping up and enter the final stages of the project, northbound lanes will be redecked and the temporary crossover that is currently in place will be removed.

The Hoan Bridge Project  is scheduled to be completed by December of this year.
