New Push For Concealed Carry on School Grounds

The group Wisconsin Carry Now is upping the ante in the debate over teachers arming themselves. The organization is now actively pushing for legislation that would allow teachers, or anyone else with a concealed carry permit, to bring their guns onto school grounds. Right now, they would be charged with a felony. This renewed push comes 8 years after a principal in western Wisconsin. 49 year old John Klang was shot and killed while confronting an armed student at Weston High School. No bill is currently pending in the state legislature.
