Milwaukee Health officials say citations, instead of warnings, will be handed out to businesses violating the restrictions.
Around 600 bars do not have safety plans in place and under the new restrictions, if they don’t have safety plans, they must operate at 25 percent capacity. The new order also requires customers to be seated at all times, except when entering. Dance floors must be closed.
- Indoor events will be restricted to 10 people excluding employees
- Outdoor events will be restricted to 25 people
- Religious and political events will be restricted to 100 people
Under the new restrictions, team sports are now limited to playing their own squads or school, unless they have a safety plan in place.
