New Pizza Man gets retractable roof

MILWAUKEE-It works for Miller Park, so why not at one of the city's most popular east side restaurants.

This week, crews are installing a retractable glass roof at Pizza Man to cover a large outdoor balcony and seated area.

It should be ready by Friday.

\"It's automatic,\"  owner Mike Amidzich explained, \"There's  a button, you push the button, it's like a big super garage door, takes about a minute, a minute and a half to close and it's going to save us a lot of headaches.\"



The original Pizza Man on North Avenue was destroyed by an arson fire three years ago.

The new one is located at Bellview and Downer.
