MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Marcus Hotels & Resorts has its name on several big initiatives when it comes to the hotel industry in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. There's the recent opening of the city's latest independent hotel known as The Marc. It features 175 rooms and is attached to the new Baird Center via a skywalk. At the same time, in the same general proximity, is the completion of the renovation project of the Hilton Milwaukee with a $42 million price tag.
