New kangaroos at Racine Zoo & Police Pals recording studio

There are new animals to check out at the Racine Zoo! Five new red kangaroos are now on display in the Australian-themed Walkabout Creek exhibit. The kangaroos are on loan from the St. Louis Zoo.

CBS 58's Jessica Tighe talks with Beth Heidorn, Executive Director for the Racine Zoo, about the loan process and incorporating the new kangaroos with the other animals in the exhibit. You'll also learn some fun facts about the five new additions!

Then later, see how a new recording studio is giving kids an opportunity to express their musical talent. The Police Pals recording studio is supported in part by the Racine Police Department. It's located inside the Dr. John Bryant Center.

Members of the Racine Police Department explain how the music studio is helping police officers create an important bond with local youth.
