MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - Milwaukee Bucks president Peter Feigin is leaving his role, and Josh Glessing is taking over.

Feigin has spent 12 years in Milwaukee as team president, overseeing a championship in 2021 and 10 playoff appearances.

“Well for personally and professionally it’s just a perfect time and I take tremendous pride and (it was the) honor of my life to be able to have this opportunity,” Feigin said.

The switch comes as the Bucks continue through the 2025-2026 season, in which the Bucks are currently under .500.

“The business is in a great, stable state,” Feigin said. “I take huge pride and really care about where we are and where we’re going.”

Glessing was born and raised in Wisconsin and has been involved with the Bucks for years.

In 2018, Glessing helped the Bucks ownership team finance Fiserv Forum, and acquired some interest in the team in 2022.

“I want fans to know that I care deeply about what the Bucks have accomplished over its 50 plus year history and really over the last 12 years and my goal is to build on the legacy,” Glessing said.

CBS 58 asked Glessing about the recent Giannis Antetokounmpo situation, as the superstar’s name continues to dominate national headlines.

“The reality is Giannis is a member of the Milwaukee Bucks and he came out this week and stated publicly how important that was to him and how important being in Milwaukee is to him,” Glessing said.

Glessing added that as of now, Giannis is a part of the team’s future.

“Build around him and continue to compete and try to win ball games, he’s a transcendent superstar, and he’s committed to us that he’s wanted to be here so obviously as long as he’s on the team the window is open," Glessing said.

The quest to win more titles will continue for the Bucks, who have grown from a small market team to a team known across the world over the last decade.

“We’re not just trying to win basketball games 82 times a year, we’re also trying to show up in the community every day of the year,” Glessing said.
