New Berlin West Teacher Investigated For Possible Sexual Contact With Student

A teacher at New Berlin West high school is being investigated for possible sexual contact with a student.

Police tell us that the allegations involve a 28-year-old female teacher and a male student. The activity has reportedly happened at an off-campus location. The teacher has been placed on unpaid leave from the school. No charges have been filed as the investigation is in its preliminary stages. 

The New Berlin Police Department has been working closely with the School District of New Berlin throughout this process. The school has released a statement saying, “We take our students’ safety and welfare seriously, and we appreciate our families’ and community’s patience as we continue to work with the police department through the investigation process.”
