MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fifteen boxes with naloxone are now spread throughout the Marquette University campus.
The university's police department is teaming up with the Wisconsin Voices for Recovery to provide rescue kits with the opioid reversal drug and breathing barrier for CPR.
The boxes are open for anyone in the community to grab a kit for free, and they're not just for sudden situations.
The idea to put boxes on campus came about last year, when a student approached campus police to ask for training on how to give someone naloxone in an emergency.
