'My Furry Valentine': MADACC offering dog adoption promotion through end of February

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) announced a new Valentine's Day dog adoption promotion.

Organizers say the goal of "My Furry Valentine" is to find families who are looking for a pet.

They say adoption fees will be waived for certain dogs, who have all been vaccinated and microchipped.

The promotion starts Friday, Feb. 11 and runs until the 28th.

Adoption hours for their Milwaukee location are from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and until 4 p.m. on weekends.
