MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There were 250 people who spent the day getting their records wiped clean.
It was the third year in a row for the 'Warrant Withdrawal Wednesday' where judges forgive municipal warrants.
Cases that could be cleared include traffic, parking, or other non-criminal violations.
Judges wanted to come up with a way to help people get outstanding warrants lifted without the pressure of facing a judge.
"The goal is you walk in, you get your warrants and suspensions lifted, you sit down and interview for a job, and you walk out with a job. It's a win-win for the courts, we get our warrants lifted. It's a win-win for defendants because they get employment so it's a win-win for the community," said Judge Derek Mosley.
If you missed this one, the Milwaukee Municipal Court will hold another one of these events before the end of the year.
