Multiple injuries after car crashes into school bus in Shawano County

SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Shawano County is currently under investigation.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, authorities were called out to the crash at 7:25 a.m. Monday near Church and Sugarbush Road.

According to a release, the school bus was traveling eastbound on Church Road. A car that was traveling southbound failed to stop at the stop sign and proceeded into the intersection, colliding with the school bus near the front left quarter panel.

This caused the school bus to be pushed off the roadway down into a ditch.

The driver of the car suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the school bus and two children were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
