MPD Searching for Suspect in Family Dollar Robbery

Milwaukee Police are asking the public to help identify a suspect wanted in an armed robbery inside the Family Dollar store, 1023 S. Cesar E. Chavez Drive, around 9:00 AM on May 9.

A male suspect approached a female victim while she was shopping inside the store. The suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money. The victim gave the suspect her money and the suspect fled on foot from the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-26 years-old, 5’4” tall, 150-160 pounds, with a medium build and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with red, white, and black stripes, red athletic pants, and black high-top tennis shoes.
