MPD investigating two separate shootings Thursday morning

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred Thursday morning.

Authorities say the first shooting took place around 2:08 a.m. near 30th and Locust.

The 33-year-old male victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation.

The second shooting happened around 3:24 a.m. near 76th and Bradley. Police say a 26-year-old man was shot after getting into an argument with a known suspect. The victim was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.

MPD is searching for the suspect.
