MPD Investigating two Saturday Shootings

Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on June 18 at about 3:00 AM, in the 2100 Block of North Lindsay Street. A group of known subjects became involved in a dispute. As the dispute escalated, a known suspect armed himself with a gun and fired several gunshots.

A 22-year-old woman was struck by gunfire. The Milwaukee Fire Department transported the victim to a local hospital where she was treated for a non-life threatening injury.

MPD is seeking a known suspect in this offense.

Also on Saturday at about 9:05 PM, Milwaukee Police were called to the area of 3100 North 9th Street to investigate a shooting. The initial investigation reveals that a subject while armed with a gun confronted a 28-year-old man. During the confrontation the suspect shot the victim.  

The victim was transported to the hospital for a non-life threatening injury.
