MPD investigating multiple shootings Saturday and Sunday

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- Two non-fatal shootings Saturday and a third early Sunday morning are being investigated by the Milwaukee Police.

Three suspects are in custody following the shooting of a 19-year-old man Saturday afternoon.  According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the shooting happened around 3:45 PM in the area of S 6th and W Becher Streets.   The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still being investigated and the Police have recovered a gun during the investigation.   The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his wounds. 

A fight among several individuals apparently resulted in a shooting around 5 PM in the area of N 49th and W Hadley Streets Saturday.  According to the MPD a 19-year-old man was wounded in the shooting and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening wounds.   The Police are looking for the suspects in the incident.

Early Sunday morning, a 16-year-old male was shot in the area of S 9th and W Scott Streets.   The victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.   According to MPD, the shooting happened around 1:20 AM.  Investigators are still looking into the exact circumstances of the shooting.
