MPD investigating double shooting near 82nd Appleton, 1 fatal

Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that happened around 8:30 a.m. on June 26 in the 8200 block of W. Appleton Avenue. Inside the residence officers found two shooting victims.
The first victim, an adult male (yet to be identified), was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim, a 48-year-old Milwaukee man, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
MPD continues to search for a motive and suspect.
