MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police report a 34-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a 3-year-old boy. 

Charges are pending.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating the death of a 3-year-old child near 29th and Auer. 

Authorities were called to the area around 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 and located the child unresponsive. They were transported to Children's Wisconsin where they died. 

The cause of death is under investigation however, the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office reported his preliminary cause of death to be homicide.
