MPD investigating after 46-year-old woman fatally shot near 42nd and Auer

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say they're investigating a homicide after a 46-year-old woman was shot and killed Thursday morning.
Police say it happened around 11:30 a.m. near 42nd and Auer.
The investigation is ongoing.
