MPD investigates two shootings Thursday night

The Milwaukee Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened just five minutes apart on Milwaukee's south side Thursday night.

Around 9:50 PM, a 22-year-old Milwaukee man told Police he was shot while driving his automobile in the area of S 12th and W Mitchell Streets.   Little else is known about the incident and the MPD is continuing to  investigate the shooting.   The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his wound.

Five minutes later, at 9:55 PM, a 33-year-old Milwaukee man was shot during an argument with a known individual.  The argument and shooting occurred inside a residence in the area of S 9th Street and W Greenfield Avenue.  The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.  The MPD is currently searching for the shooting suspect.
