MPD: 3 more shootings in Milwaukee overnight

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating three more shootings that happened overnight Thursday, July 8 into Friday, July 9. 

The first happened around 11 p.m. near 55th and Wright St.

A 16-year-old girl from Milwaukee sustained non-life threatening injuries and is being treated at a local hospital. 

Another shooting took place around 12:28 a.m. near 44th and North Ave. 

A 27-year-old Milwaukee man also sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and is being treated at a local hospital.

Around 12:39 a.m. Milwaukee police responded to a shooting near 11th and W. Burleigh. 

A 23-year-old Milwaukee man suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to that shooting. 

All three shootings come after a 26-year-old Milwaukee man was fatally shot outside of a gas station near Fond Du Lac Ave and Mill Road Thursday around 6 p.m.
