MPD: 3 injured in separate shootings on Sunday, Jan.16
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shootings on Sunday, Jan. 16 that left three people injured.
The first happened around 9:10 a.m. near 87th and Appleton Ave. A 20-year-old Wauwatosa woman sustained serious injuries. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested in connection to the shooting. Police believe it was the result of an argument and will refer criminal charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
A second shooting happened Sunday, Jan. 16 at approximately 9:10 a.m. A 30-year-old Milwaukee man arrived at a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. The shooting also appears to be the result of an argument. The location of the scene is under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect.
Milwaukee police are investigating a third shooting that occurred on Sunday, Jan. 16, at around 1:49 p.m. near 38th and Vienna. A 49-year-old Milwaukee man, sustained non-fatal injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect.
