MPD: 2 hurt in separate shootings Tuesday night

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened in the evening on Tuesday, May 25.
The first shooting happened around 8:34 p.m. near 49th and Locust. A 20-year-old was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the shooting appears to have happened following an argument over money. Police are looking for the suspect.
The second shooting happened around 10 p.m. near 76th and Calumet. A 27-year-old is expected to be okay after being shot. The circumstances leading up to the incident remain under investigation.
