MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting that is believed to have taken place on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at around midnight at an unknown location.

Police said the 19-year-old victim sought help near 40th and Clarke before later succumbing to their injuries. The victim was initially transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Milwaukee police report they are investigating the shooting, as well as searching for unknown suspects.
