MPD: 15-year-old boy injured in overnight shooting.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured at 15-year-old boy. 

It happened around 1:15a.m. Monday, August 9 near 62nd and Sheridan. 

The 15-year-old Milwaukee boy, sustained a non-fatal gunshot injury.

He was driven to the area of 64th and 107th Streets in Milwaukee for medical attention after the shooting to receive medical attention and was later transported to a local hospital. 

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.

The shooting is the second involving a 15-year-old in the last week. 

Police said Sunday that another 15-year-old died boy died from his injuries in a shooting that occurred Friday, August 6. 

Milwaukee police are looking for unknown suspects.
