MPD: 1 person seriously injured following two-vehicle crash near Brady and Van Buren

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are currently investigating a two-vehicle crash.
It happened around 11:30 a.m. on Monday near Brady and Van Buren.
According to police, a vehicle was driving southbound on Holton when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and then began to drive southbound in the northbound lane.
A second car was driving northbound when they attempted to avoid the crash but ended up hitting the first vehicle's driver side door.
The driver of the first vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a life-threatening injury.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries and is cooperating with police.
The crash remains under investigation.
