MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that left one person dead and another injured near 24th and Capitol on Saturday, May 3 at around 3:20 p.m.

A 24-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, a 25-year-old, sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police said the shooting may have followed an argument.

The investigation is ongoing, and police continue to seek an unknown suspect or suspects.
