Mount Pleasant Police Investigating Multiple Burglaries in Same Neighborhood

In the past month and a half, the Mount Pleasant Police Department has investigated four burglaries in the same small neighborhood area, while the Racine Police Department has investigated an additional burglary off of Lathrop Avenue in the City of Racine’s jurisdiction.

The suspect or suspects have forced entry through front doors, garage service doors, as well as windows. 

Police are asking residents to make sure they are securing their vehicles and residences and to be vigilant when coming and going from their homes. Outside lights should be checked to make sure they are in good working condition and left on during the night time hours. 

If you see anyone or anything suspicious in the neighborhood residents are encouraged to call 911 so police can respond and investigate. 

The burglaries are still under investigation by the Mt. Pleasant and Racine Police Departments.
