MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A mother-daughter duo has been working at Miller Park together for more than a decade.
30-year-old Shadeeah Herbert first got a job at Miller Park through her mom. She started as a food vendor. As the days went by, she got promoted and now she’s a supervisor.
Herbert is in charge of making sure the food is good, the concessions area is clean and she keeps employees busy throughout the game.
Herbert says she didn’t expect a part-time job to become such a big part of her life.
“It’s a seasonal part-time job but it’s also why I’m here,” she said. “I miss coming back here, when I leave at the end of the season it’s like okay, when is work back.”
Herbert is her mom’s supervisor but says as soon as they leave the ball park, mom is back in charge.
