MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There was a special event Thursday night in the effort to wipe out breast cancer.
Susan G. Komen Wisconsin held their annual gala at Venue 21 in Milwaukee's Brewery District.
The event consisted of a dinner and an auction to raise money to support the group's activities all year.
CBS 58 anchor Natalie Shepherd was one of the emcees for the event.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The fight against breast cancer takes money and lots of it. Susan G. Komen Wisconsin is an organization dedicated to raising that money. The Komen Wisconsin "More Than Pink Gala" will take place in Milwaukee's Brewery District Thursday, March 5 and CBS 58's Natalie Shepherd was there with a preview of the event.
