More homeowners protecting their property with surveillance cameras

MILWAUKEE--It's not uncommon to see surveillance cameras in banks or gas stations and in recent years, technology and price points have made video surveillance affordable for many private citizen. 

\"People have more stuff and people are more technology savvy, so they're willing to spend money,  to secure their things,\" said John Enderlin with the Milwaukee Alarm Company.

There are a number of different reasons why people are getting surveillance cameras installed in their home. 



\"I actually think that the industry as a whole is selling it less on the crime factor and more on the peace of mind factor,\" said Enderlin.
