Mixed night for Brewers at the All-Star Game

The Brewers two All-Stars had vastly different nights in the American League's 6-3 win over the National League in Cincinnati Tuesday.

On the positive side, Ryan Braun tripled in a pinch hitting role in the ninth inning, coming around to score on a sacrifice fly. But Francisco Rodriguez didn't enjoy the same kind of success, giving up two runs in the seventh inning thanks to an RBI double from Manny Machado and a sacrifice fly from former Brewer Prince Fielder.

The game marked the sixth All-Star appearance for both Braun and Rodriguez.

With the win, the American League champion receives home field advantage during the World Series. The Brewers return to action Friday at Miller Park, with the Pirates in town for a weekend series.
