Missing The Bus, Finding Other Arrangements

The three-day bus strike is already taking a toll on those who are clearly dependent on the service.  I spoke with riders all over town, and most of them had no idea the work stoppage was even happening.  They quickly had to make other arrangements either getting to work or running personal errands.

We were able to catch up with some of the union protesters, and they say they feel for everyone of these people.  But they say they’re uniting because they need to make a better life for themselves, whether it be higher wages , better benefits, or just the right to have proper arbitration, at least in their eyes.
