MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's celebration of all things tomatoes returns for its 13th year, Saturday.
Organizers of the Tomato Romp said this year's event is its biggest, messiest and perhaps tastiest festival yet.
The fun begins with a new Bloody Mary challenge from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. when area bars compete for your votes for the best Bloody Mary mix.
The Tomato Fight begins at 3:30 p.m. when dozens of people throw 8,000 pounds of rotten tomatoes at each other. Proceeds from the fight are donated to the Riverwest Food Pantry.
There will also be outdoor games and art for visitors to check out.
