MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Bucks have partnered with J-Jeffers for another new development in Milwaukee's thriving Deer District, as announced on Nov.13.
Officials say the one-block development will plan to emit a "live, work, play" experience that will transform the city's urban life and is part of the Bucks' commitment to the downtown area. The five-story building will have both residences and commercial spaces.
David Crowley, Milwaukee County executive, joined city and county leaders in the announcement Monday morning and said, “Today's announcement really represents the growing momentum that is occurring right here in the Deer District, but also all throughout the city of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County.”
At this time, there's no name for the new development, but the partners say construction is expected to start in early 2025.
